In accordance with Government Code Section 66006, school districts that collect developer fees are required to complete an annual accounting of those fees within 180 days of the conclusion of the fiscal year. This accounting will be made available to the public at least 15 days prior to its finalization.
Additionally, as mandated by Government Code Section 66001, each district that collects developer fees is required to conduct further findings every five (5) years regarding any developer fee fund in which the collected fees remained unspent at the end of the fiscal year.
Please note that the District will make additional findings, if required, in compliance with Government Code Section 66001(d) on or before December 2028.
